Join us on July 6th for National Fried Chicken Day and chow down!
To our friends, family, guests, employees, and supporters,
After nearly six years of serving this community, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.
This is not an announcement we ever imagined writing. Like many small business owners, we built this restaurant with equal parts passion, hope, hard work, and faith. Along the way, we took risks—some that led to growth, some that taught us hard lessons, and all of them taken with the belief that we were building something meaningful. While those risks helped us accomplish things we are incredibly proud of, they have also brought us to a point where continuing to operate is no longer financially possible.
Although this chapter is ending, our hearts are full of gratitude.
What began as a dream became so much more than a restaurant. It became a gathering place where friendships were formed, milestones were celebrated, stories were shared, and strangers became familiar faces. Through every service, event, challenge, and success, you welcomed us into your lives and allowed us the privilege of serving you. We will never take that gift for granted.
To our guests: thank you for every meal shared, every word of encouragement, every recommendation to a friend, and every time you chose to spend your hard-earned money with us. Your support sustained us through both our greatest victories and our most difficult seasons.
To our employees, past and present: thank you for your dedication, resilience, talent, and heart. You were never simply staff—you were family. You carried this restaurant through long days, late nights, busy weekends, and uncertain times. The memories we made together will remain some of the most meaningful parts of this journey.
To our vendors, neighbors, landlords, and business partners: thank you for your patience, support, and belief in us. We are especially grateful for the grace and understanding we have been shown as we navigate this transition. That kindness has meant more than words can adequately express.
Owning and operating this restaurant has been one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of our lives. It has taught us resilience, perseverance, leadership, sacrifice, and gratitude. It has given us friendships we will carry forever and lessons that will continue to shape who we are long after the doors close.
Most importantly, this journey has reminded us of what matters most: family.
After years of pouring ourselves into this business, we feel a deep need to return home, to be present with the people we love most, and to embrace a slower season of life. While this decision carries sadness, it also carries peace. We know it is time.
As we say goodbye, we do so with immense gratitude for everything we have gained, respect for everything we have lost, and appreciation for every person who became part of this story.
Thank you for allowing us to share our food, our culture, and a piece of ourselves with this community. Thank you for the memories, the support, the laughter, the grace, and the love.
We leave with full hearts and lasting gratitude.
With love,
The Bantam Kitchen
